Enough is a beautiful word. It’s powerful and definitive. It also gives off the impression that a battle has been fought but it’s no longer worth dying for. And that one has tried his damn best and hardest to endure but has finally learned where the end is or where it should be. Or that an epiphany of some sort has arrived and there’s something else to do or somewhere else to go. That limits have been reached and there’s no settling any longer. It’s short and succinct. It’s factual and opinionated. It’s subjective yet objective. It’s neither offensive nor defensive. It’s both bitter and sweet. It’s hurting and soothing. It’s lovely in darkness and light. It speaks of hi and goodbye. Such a clever word with only six letters. I’d fancy using it more often. You should, too. For who knows the boundaries of your heart than you.
